AAJA-Related Fundraisers to Benefit Japan

Several chapters of the Asian American Journalists Association are teaming with local organizations to help generate a needed cash infusion to people affected by the disasters in Japan.

Coming up:

  • Thursday, March 24: In Dallas, the goal is to raise at least $3,000. Follow @dallas4japan for more information.
  • Saturday, March 26: In D.C., Capital Hearts for Japan is spearheading a drive at the Park at Fourteenth.
  • Wednesday, March 30: AAJA-N.Y. is partnering with social media guru Sree Sreenivasan to make a teachable moment into a fundraiser, too. Registration is free for members of AAJA and the South Asian Journalists Association. Donations are encouraged.
